Addiction

Who We Are

House of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the treatment and support of those suffering from substance use and mental illness. Since 1969, House of Hope has provided hope and healing throughout South Florida to men and women in a residential and outpatient setting.

Many of our clients lack the financial resources to seek treatment. Our goal is to return our residents to the community as productive and self-supporting citizens, thus reducing dependence on government support or a life of crime. Learn more about House of Hope.

ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE

Now in its fourth year, the Road to Independence program will assist an additional 600 House of Hope residents in 2020, who are overcoming addiction and getting back on their feet. Men and women currently in our residential treatment program will meet with House of Hope Employment Specialists to prepare for the workforce and secure employment after overcoming their substance abuse challenges.

THERESE
SUCCESS STORY

Therese’s story provides hope for those who are battling substance abuse. A former House of Hope resident at the organization’s women’s campus, also in Fort Lauderdale, Therese has not had an urge to drink or use since she got sober and graduated from our residential treatment program.
